Well, I took the plunge and bought a Lachenal 48 button EC yesterday and I have made a video this morning where I have demonstrated the difference in size, weight and of course, tone. I guess this might be useful to someone who is either starting out or thinking about upgrading . I play "In The Bleak Mid Winter" on both at the end of the video.
