s2maur Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 This just breaks my heart! Listed on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/EARLY-20th-C-CONCERTIN...93%3A1|294%3A50 Steve
Greg Jowaisas Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Well, Steve, don't get too broken up about this one, or at least the one that generated these pictures and exactly the same text, because it sold about a month ago on eBay. The price I believe was between $4000. to $5000.!! That's a fairly hefty price for a duet in pristine condition let alone rusty reeds. Headed for the anglo conversion factory no doubt. So dollars to donuts this one out of Latvia (Latvia!!) is a scam. Here is a link to the original cnet discussion of the legitimate auction. http://www.concertina.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=9165 I hope your neck and back are doing better. Greg
gavdav Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 The good news is there appear to be two different, very nice, genuine Jeffries Duets for sale on ebay.co.uk right now.
Dirge Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 The good news is there appear to be two different, very nice, genuine Jeffries Duets for sale on ebay.co.uk right now. And why would anyone want one?

Daniel Hersh Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 And this listing is now back again, twice! It's here on eBay, allegedly in Bulgaria, and also here on Craigslist, allegedly in London.
