Add the actor (obvious non-player) wielding one in "A Christmas Carol", the bit where spirit of Christmas Present takes Scrooge to a lighthousemen's party. Personally I preferred JK on the Victorian Farm show. Regards, Tony.

One (at least) being played in a boat in an "I Love Ireland " ad which went on so long I switched the sound up to find out if it was a programme, and if so, which one!!!

In the 1956 movie 'Carousel,' the villain Jigger (Cameron Mitchell) plays a gaudy-looking Anglo in the clambake scene. The Anglo looks like a particularly cheesy Italian job with chrome corners and a red-and-white gazillion-fold bellows, and Jigger pumps it widely and wildly without touching a button. There should have been a cautionary subtitle, "No actual concertina was harmed in filming this scene."

At the start of the BBC Four Sessions Christmas show with Bellowhead

That's too easy!!!!

Not too hard, I'll admit!

John Spiers. He's pretty good! However if you see him 'live' with Jon Boden he plays the 'tina quite a lot more than he does with Bellowhead.

Further news on the concertina player in the Frost Tv detective program.

Series "A Touch of Frost" with David Jason.

Year 2002.

Title "Mistaken Identity" a double episode. Had to wait until the next week to see the titles.

Walter, a tramp with pram and dog. Is played by, Barry Jason.

Doesn't look as though he is really playing the concertina. Just acting.

..............was watching the movie "Oliver " with Mark Lester & Ron Moody and saw a nice looking English. Raised ends; more Lachenal-like than Wheatstone. Loved watching it again......Ron Moody & Shani Wallis were terrific, Jack Wild had a sad life and Mark Lester is the self-proclaimed father of Micharl Jackson's child ! Who knew.....

A couple of sitings over the last month. First one, during a film version of Heidi (!) which was on over Xmas. Then this week, the first episode of the new series of Being Human on BBC3 showed a quick glimpse of a concertina in the final scene.
